What will emerge after the next round of mass extinctions, when the world as we know it dies?  

Curiously, after the dinosaurs disappeared, a niche was available for small mammals to thrive and become us.

    In my 20s, it was clear that the solution to my ills, and those of the world, was a vodka martini.

     In my 30s, the cure to any problem, one way or another, revolved around a roll of duct tape.

     In my 40s, I learned the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything was 42.

     In my 50s, things were looking up and satellites quickly replaced plastics as the obvious remedy.

     In my 60s, fat free frozen yogurt.

     In my 70s, naps.

     Now, unbelievably, the new solution is something very old ... WD-40.

     Pretty slick, eh?

They get what they pay for.

American health-care, infrastructure, education, personal safety, etc., now has fallen below almost every modernized nation where citizens and businesses pay more taxes. 

Guess what? 

They are provided much better public services.

This is true and frustrating.  

Age-related issues have put me in touch with several new “OLOGISTS.”  

I feel good, but every time I type that word in lower case my Spell Check changes it to “eulogists.”

When Mother Nature's Water Bursts

After millions of years, The Father of All Rivers continues to be overwhelmed and in awe every time Mother Nature’s water bursts.
